These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and [Company Legal Name] (“DocDev”, “we”) governing your use of the DocDev service (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

DocDev is an AI-assisted tool that helps digital agencies turn client briefs into structured insights, discovery questions, and proposals. We may modify, add, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You must notify us promptly at [support@example.com] of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates a third party’s rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent rate limits or security controls.
  • Use the Service to generate content that violates Anthropic’s usage policies, including content designed to deceive, harm, or impersonate.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the briefs, files, and other materials you upload (“Customer Content”) and the proposals you generate. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit Customer Content solely to operate the Service for you. We do not use Customer Content to train AI models, and our AI subprocessors are contractually prohibited from doing so.

6. Plans, payment, and refunds

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Pricing is available at [/#pricing].
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Annual plans may be eligible for a pro-rated refund at our discretion.
  • You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We may change pricing on at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, third-party outages, and force-majeure events may cause downtime. The Service is provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. AI-generated output

The Service uses large language models to generate content. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated output before relying on it or sending it to a client. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, fitness for purpose, or legal compliance of generated content.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates legal or operational risk. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. ownership, liability, governing law) will continue.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law
